2024 USER CONFERENCE SIGNAGE
ESRI’S User Conference is an annual event showcasing the latest developments in GIS technology. It’s the Creative Lab’s responsibility to make the event inspiring and beautiful, as well as easy to navigate! In just one month, I created over 25 individual signs for the conference, aligning with ESRI’s key art strategy and working with the marketing team.

FOOD TRUCK POSTER
My favorite project of the internship was designing a custom poster advertising the food truck area. While I followed branding instruction and key art for most projects, I was given full creative freedom over the design and layout for this poster. I still wanted it to be recognizable as part of ESRI, so I included topographic elements and utilized a layered design style that is common in their infographics and illustrations.

FEDERAL AGENCY KIOSKS
I also helped design kiosks for ESRI’s federal agency clients. Creating these was often a challenge of finding balance between what the clients wanted, and creating a cohesive and functional design. These were displayed in the conference’s expo and showcase what companies and agencies around the world are achieving with ESRI products.
Example of the process from completed design, to mock-ups for approval, to the physical kiosk at the conference.

2025 User Conference Merch
Prep for the User Conference starts early! After the actual event had passed, I spent some time designing merch for next year’s conference. Everything was map-themed, of course!

ESRI GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERNSHIP
As a graphic design intern at ESRI Creative Lab, I had the opportunity to create both custom and on-brand graphics for the leading GIS company in the world. Working alongside a talented team of designers, I helped them prepare for their annual user conference creating signage, infographics, posters, and more.
12 WEEKS / 480 HOURS / 35 TOTAL PROJECTS
