I worked with two other developers, a geographer, and an entrepreneur (all esri interns) to bring EasyAisle to life in just a short weekend. As the team’s designer, I was responsible for the complete UI layout and development of the User Experience, as well as logo design, brand identity, and the design of our final presentation. I also presented our final product to a panel of judges and an audience of over 500 attendees.

EasyAisle is a mobile application that allows grocery delivery drivers to link their delivery platform accounts (DoorDash, InstaCart, UberEats, etc.) into one interface. The app groups the imported orders by store, placing it into one aggregate grocery list, and using Esri technology, the app configures an optimized route for the shopper to take throughout the store. Saving time, energy, and money, EasyAisle helps delivery drivers manage multiple orders from multiple platforms in a single grocery trip.

ESRI Hackathon 2024

As part of my internship, I competed in Esri’s anual hackathon. Summer interns formed teams of highly motivated developers and GIS analysts to solve interesting real-world problems using GIS. The solutions illustrate how effective it is to use ArcGIS to address real problems using location analytics. Our working app, EasyAisle, creates optimized guides and indoor navigation for delivery drivers to use in grocery stores, and took first place among 18 other teams.
