It was important to me to respect the history of the song as well as the time period and people the song came from. The art style of the poster is inspired by Harlem Renaissance artists such as Aaron Douglas. My goal was to bring together the visual and musical movements of the 1930s into a music poster that has a modern feel but still speaks to its historical significance.

An open-concept project to design a poster for any topic, establishment, or event. I chose to design a music poster for the classic jazz song "On the Sunny Side of the Street." The poster is designed to be equally decorative and informative as an appreciation of 1930s jazz music.
Designed for the annual poster competition for International Compost Awareness Week’s. Given the theme “Compost: Nature’s Climate Champion,” I came up with imagery representative of a racetrack to celebrate the idea of champions and competitions. The shape of the composition represents the compost symbol, emphasizing how important compost is in the race against climate change.

A movie poster focusing on surrealist elements. This hypothetical film is a modern retelling of the fairytale Snow White that takes place in a virtual world. It would explore themes of modern femininity and beauty standards in their relationship to social media.
